More and more industrial control system manufacturers are focusing on MicroTCA as the new standard with compact and flexible dimensions, and high data transmission rates as decisive strengths. HARTING MicroTCA connectors offer a backplane connecting concept suitable for industrial use.
All requirements specified in the current version of the PICMG “Rugged MicroTCA” subcommittee have been successfully met, and without contact interruptions.
The HARTING connector on the backplane benefits of all con:card+ features, especially the innovative guide spring.
In standard solutions, AdvancedMC cards are defined as card-edge connections. HARTING has replaced this card-edge solution by a real two-piece connection system. This combination offers high reliability without contact failures in harsh environments, even under extreme shock vibration up to a multiple of 50 of g.
