The HARTING Technology Group also applies its in-depth experience in the field of micro-engineering to the development of customer-specific microtechnological solutions.
One of the main areas of emphasis is the connection between micro- and macro-worlds. Solutions include micro-packaging, entailing connecting and packaging micro-chips, sensors, etc. for applications in medical apparatus, automobile manufacturing and sensor technology.
In addition, HARTING is also developing tools and assembly techniques for micro-manufacturing. Today, customers not only have access to micro-products, but also to a corresponding range of engineering services, tools and assembly systems.

Tool and special machine technology

Over many years HARTING has applied its in-depth knowledge of the manufacture of connectors, vending machines and other technical products to the design and construction of special-purpose machines and tools. The Technology Group has developed and refined its specific competence in this area with the result that a comprehensive range of services is now available. The company provides project support and undertakes commissions that extend from advising the customer on planning and developing injection molding, die casting and punching tools, automated assembly plant and other special-purpose machines through to design and manufacture. In addition, HARTING is also available to manufacture and test customers‘ own products.
