GITEX trade show: Ambassador Fischer was filled in on HARTING solutions

A high visit to GITEX (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition): in a recent visit to the exhibition, German Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Peter Fischer sought information about the HARTING Technology Group. In particular, Ambassador Fischer demonstrated interest in solutions for Industry 4.0 and for electromobility, as Dominik Nimmesgern, General Manager at HARTING Middle East, United Arab Emirates, emphasized.

The trade fair took place this October 14-18, 2018 in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). The focus of the event was on the smart mini-industrial computer of the HARTING Technology Group - the HARTING MICA®, as well as its follow-on development, the miniMICA. The miniMICA is installed in the "Oasis", which visitors could wonder at on the stand of telecom provider Etisalat. The HARTING MICA® (Modular Industry Computing Architecture) was another focus of attention. With the MICA®, digitalization projects can be quickly and easily implemented directly on plants and machines.

"Visitor traffic was much stronger this year than in 2017. Our e-mobility solutions were especially attracting a great deal of interest since the United Arab Emirates are very committed to sustainability. All in all, I see good growth prospects for HARTING in the region over the next few years," concluded Nimmesgern.
