Docking frame for flexible IP65/67 protected machine connections

The IP65/67 docking frame enables straight-forward, automatic connection of machine modules – also in environments with harsh and demanding ambient conditions.

HARTING is expanding its range of docking frames with IP65/67 protected solutions available in the standard sizes for industrial connectors (6B to 24B). This allows machine modules as well as tools to be docked automatically – and entirely tool-free. A plug-in process or even hard wiring including cables can be dispensed with "blind mating" option...

Han-INOX® stainless steel housings protect against corrosion and aggressive substances

New Ha-VIS eCon switches for robust single pair Ethernet

Ha-VIS eCon 4000 SPE switch featuring seven M12 T1 ports for the integration of SPE end devices in zones presenting harsh and challenging ambient conditions.

HARTING has now launched the Ha-VIS eCon 4000 M12T1 SPE, a single pair Ethernet (SPE) switch with IP67 protection. The robust metal housing stands up to the adversities of harsh outdoor environments (tested for rail vehicles according to EN 50155) and enables secure data communication - also in challenging and demanding indoor industrial scenarios...

Han® Push-In family extended by monobloc insert

Thanks to push-in technology, stranded wires with wire-end ferrules can be connected in the Han® Q Monoblock – entirely tool-free.

Following on from the market launch of modular push-in inserts this spring, the next expansion stage has now been ushered in: HARTING is expanding its portfolio with a first monoblock variant for the Han®-Compact housing. Thanks to the use of push-in technology, the new Han® Q 8/0 insert enables up to 30 % faster field assembly of connectors. This makes it particularly suitable for environments where space for installation work is at a premium...

HARTING enabling smart energy management

The IoT_EnRG research project aims to develop a universal energy information model enabling comprehensive energy monitoring in factory automation. HARTING is supporting the project undertaken by the Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts and the Helmut Schmidt University of Hamburg with the appropriate connectivity.

When it comes down to climate protection and sustainable action, the best kilowatt hour is the one that is not consumed at all. Consequently, it is all the more important to make existing consumers more efficient and economical, to identify superfluous consumption and to make energy management data available in smart networks – and the HARTING Technology Group is addressing precisely these issues with suitable solutions...
