How granular do you want to go? A guide to modularity in production technology (English)

Machine and plant manufacturers who adopt consistent modular methods are often particularly successful. Interfaces play a central role in this approach. In this Web-Seminar we will discuss modularity in production technology.

You will learn:

- How to make the modularity of your products as efficient as possible

- A recommended matrix view of machines and plants and the resulting practical activities’

- The standard aspects of modular connectors when combining power, data and signals

- How to create EMC-compatible solutions with new shielded modules

High-quality product data for an accelerated development process

Targeted data use and associated processes can lead to high efficiency gains during the design-in. For this reason, HARTING links its products with data packages which support the user, enabling them to use the right data in the right place. By providing CADENAS Multi CAD, HARTING covers over 95% of the CAD systems market. This means that 150 native and high-quality data formats are available for HARTING products.

As time-consuming conversion is no longer necessary, the customer workload is reduced, saving them time and effort. In future, the data will also be available for complete connector configurations. ECAD data (ZUKEN E3, EPLAN) can also be integrated at the push of a button, meaning the generation of component data by the user is no longer necessary.

In this Web-Seminar you will discover:

  • The functional elements of product data
  • How you can access the product data in all relevant formats quickly and easily
  • How you can optimise your process flows
