HARTING Ladies take on the Race for Life
The sun was shining as nine of the HARTING UK ladies swapped their office wear for sports gear on Sunday 5th June 2016 to run, walk and dance the 5K in aid of Cancer Research UK. The race took place around Abington Park in Northampton and a great day was had by all in the SweetHARTINGs team.
The team included: Kate Fisher (Internal Sales Executive), Jane Few (Customer Service Manager), Doreen Sanderson (Regional Manager), Janita Patel (AutoCAD Engineer), Rachel Walker (Customer Service Coordinator), Dani Ellis (Purchasing Manager), Naomi Leach (Friend), Amalia Telbis (Engineering Co-Ordinator), and Helen Chick (Marketing Executive).
We started the day with a warm up, including a few Zumba moves, and then joined the sea of pink towards the starting line. The team looked great in our pink SweetHARTING’s tops, with lots of eye-catching pink accessories. Then we were off, running and walking around the park in the scorching heat! The team did really well with their times and we are all really proud of each other for taking part.
