Meet our Regional Marketing Manager

Meet Natasha Sephton-Pike our new Regional Marketing Manager here at HARTING. This newly created role combines the management of the UK Marketing department and supporting the MD or Marketing responsible in designated HARTING EMEA local subsidiaries.

Natasha joins HARTING with a strong B2B marketing background with experience in industrial automation, electronic and manufacturing markets.

We caught up with Natasha to find out a little about her and what she has planned for the future at HARTING.

How did you begin your career in Marketing:

I guess a little unconventionally really, I studied Design for Performance as my undergraduate degree, which involved designing and making set, costume and lighting for theatre performances. As a part of the degree we had to promote the performances we were helping to create; that was where I got my first taste of marketing and thought “I like the look of this!”

After graduating I got my first job in marketing at a theatre for a couple of years, which was great fun and I learnt a lot. Then the bright lights of B2B marketing came calling and I made the jump from marketing ballet and opera to industrial coatings, then to industrial automation solutions…. I was hooked!

What attracted you to HARTING?

I could see that HARTING was a strong, growing company, they were investing in new technology with a focus on providing Industry 4.0 solutions. This caught my interest as I wanted to work with a company that was looking to the future and striving for success.

What projects do you have planned for the next 12 months?

Over the next 12 months there are many product launches and updates to the HARTING portfolio that the marketing department will be involved in. One that I’m really excited about is the launch of HARTING ix Industrial – the new standard for industrial Ethernet as a rugged, miniaturised version of an RJ45. I'm excited to be part of the team of people launching this innovative and potentially industry changing product.

Other product developments I’m looking forward to seeing this year are with the MICA (Modular Industry Computing Architecture), the M8/M12 connector range and the new and improved Han-Modular frame…watch this space for more information!

So finally, do you have any hobbies?

I recently got a puppy called Raspberry Beret (I’m a huge Prince fan), so I have been spending a lot of time cuddling her, training her and cuddling her some more. Oh and rescuing my shoes from her puppy teeth!
