Certification and Compliance
Our Northampton facility has an Integrated Management System. This system has been specially designed using the Wiki format and describes in detail not only how we fulfil our obligations to Quality, Health & Safety, the Environment and Corporate Social Responsibility, but also how we will work to stay at the forefront of developments in these areas.
Certificates
Independent third parties have assessed and certified our management system to the quality standards ISO9001 and to the Environmental System Standard ISO14001. We have also achieved the prestigious Silver Quality Performance Level award for ISO/TS 22163 (IRIS)
In addition to these system certifications, we are also certified by UL to apply the UL mark to wiring harnesses under project scope ZPFW2/ZPFW8. We are also members of the Railway Industry Qualification Scheme RISQS.
Corporate Social Responsibility and Investors in People
Corporate Social Responsibility is very important to HARTING. We follow the ZVEI (German Electrical Industry) Code of Conduct for CSR. We also have Investors in People certification and comply with our legal obligations under the UK Modern Slavery Act. In addition, we ensure product compliance with REACH, RoHS, California Proposition 65 substances and Conflict Mineral Legislation.
