Background and History

In 2019, HARTING and others identified that there needed to be a specific global group dedicated to the advancement of Single Pair Ethernet. Individual companies were working on their SPE components and they were being recognized as global standards, but there was a piece missing. Collaboration, joint design, and partnership on products is more important than it has ever been to move the technology forward more rapidly.

The Single Pair Ethernet Industrial Partner Network was born out of this initiative. Launched with seven founding members, the group has now grown to over 15 members.
