The HARTING Technology Group presented numerous technological highlights at this year's HANNOVER MESSE digital Edition (April 12-16, 2021). HARTING is designing the high-performance connectivity of the future and designating it as Connectivity+.
Under the term Connectivity+, The HARTING Technology Group combines innovative topics such as DC voltage supply in industry, electromobility and new industrial ecosystems such as Single Pair Ethernet (SPE).

The HARTING Technology Group is presenting itself with numerous technological highlights at this year's HANNOVER MESSE digital Edition (12 to 16 April 2021). "At HARTING, we are designing the powerful connectivity of the future and we call it Connectivity+," as CEO Philip Harting said.

Han® S gives users a complete cable assembly
Energy efficiency is a topic that HARTING is concerned with and for which The HARTING Technology Group offers specific solutions: With its Han® S, HARTING has developed a series of connectors that enable customers to to build energy storage systems on the basis of battery modules. The Han®S is also the first HARTING-developed connector specifically designed for front-mounting energy storage systems.

Faster wall-mounting for connectors
The metal housings in the Han® EMV and Han® HPR series are now also available in versions that enable contact inserts to be mounted from the rear -- an option that simplifies the placement of interfaces on switch cabinet walls and and increases the installation speed and thus lowers costs in the long term.

All-new system solutions for power distribution in rail vehicles
HARTING has developed new interfaces for the power supply of trains that are optimized for a long service life and thus stand for sustainability. This upcoming technology is called the the Han® HPR High Performance Transformer Connector (HPTC) and is a transformer interface especially developed for railway customers.

In the Han-Modular® series, HARTING offers numerous connectors with which the energy efficiency of machines and systems can be sustainably increased. The latest example of this is the Han® 300 A module. It fits in with the classic development goal for for energy storage systems by enabling more capacity with less weight.
