A Family-Run Company
Since it was founded by Wilhelm and Marie Harting in 1945, HARTING has been 100% family-owned.
Our declared corporate goal is to remain an independent family business. Since its foundation in 1945, the HARTING Technology Group has been 100% owned by the Harting family. Since October 2015, Philip Harting has been the third generation to lead our company as Chairman of the Board.
The top management team is completed by Maresa W. M. Harting-Hertz (Board member for Global Purchasing, Global Facility Management, International Tax Management, partner), Dietmar Harting (Board member, partner) and Margrit Harting (Board member, partner), as well as four other members of the Board.
