We are part of the HARTING Technology Group from Germany, a world leading connectivity company and specialist for products for the 3 industrial lifelines data, signal and power. We develop, manufacture and sell the world's most durable and reliable products and solutions for use in the fields of machinery, plant engineering, mining equipment, factory automation, railways, power generation and distribution as well as industrial electronics and telecommunication.
Founded in 1945 in Minden, Germany, HARTING currently employs a workforce of about 6,500 employees worldwide. With global 58 sales- and production plants, HARTING is committed to maintaining close proximity to markets and customers.

HARTING Australia

HARTING Australia office was inaugurated in November 2008 in Melbourne – since then we have grown and expanded significantly. Our own Sales Force and local distributors cover each state in Australia as well as New Zealand. Our ANZ customer base comprises of companies out of various industrial markets for instance railway, mining, automation, machinery, energy, marine and telecommunication. HARTING Australia is a member of various industry organizations and associations like for instance IICA and the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce. We always grasp and use up-to-date industrial information to develop related connectivity and cabling solutions used in various ANZ projects. In addition to our direct relation to major OEM customers, System Integrators and End-Users, HARTING Australia maintains also an authorized distributor and wholesaler network, which covers the entire ANZ region……We are here for you locally!

Our Industries and products

From the rail metro systems in Melbourne and Sydney, to heavy duty machinery and conveyor applications in mine sites in WA and NSW, to substations and power plants, to machines for food & beverage production in QLD OR video and telecommunication equipment, HARTING products are used in a variety of industrial applications across Australia. Of course, in Down-Under we have somehow a special focus on applications in rail, mining, food & beverage, agricultural, automation and general manufacturing. For all these markets and applications, we offer a comprehensive portfolio of connector, cable assembly and Ethernet switch products. This includes our industrial connector Han^®, Industrial Ethernet Switches, PCB connectors, Interface connectors including Industrial Ethernet connectivity like RJ45, iX, T1, M12, customized cable assemblies and system cables and comprehensive portfolio of tools for all relevant termination techniques and assembly steps……Enabling a perfect connectivity solution for you!

Today, we predominantly focus on the three lifelines of industry - power, signal and data - through a wide portfolio of industrial connectors, board level connectors and components for industrial Ethernet; always in focus the new technologies enabling seamless connections and Industry4.0 applications. In order to enable such future-proof connections, we cover technology trends like modularization, customization, miniaturization, eMobility, just to name a few, and our team is available to demonstrate, consult and advise our industrial customers in order to select the most suitable connectivity solution for each project.
