Circular Economy Railway Technology Image

All Electric Society and Circular Economy

The realisation of a circular economy is one of the central elements of the European Green Deal and is being pursued at Member State level in various framework strategies as a guiding principle of economic policy orientation. This is reflected, for example, in the current draft of a National Circular Economy Strategy (NKWS) published by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) in June 2024.
