Rapid termination technique Push-in available for sizes Han® 3A and 4A

At the HANNOVER MESSE 2024 the Technology Group presents the new Push-In monoblocks for Han®3A and Han® 4A
Rapid termination technique Push-in available for sizes Han® 3A and 4A

With the Push-In termination technique from HARTING, users may reduce the assembly time of their connectors by up to 30%. HARTING is currently expanding its product range to include Push-in monoblocks for hoods and housings of the Han®3A an Han® 4A sizes. If wire end ferrules are used, the contact chambers of the inserts do not have to be kept open with an extra tool.

The pressure exerted by the wires is sufficient to insert the conductors into the contact chambers. The cage clamp fixes the wire end and ensures a robust and high-quality contacting. When stripped wires are used, the actuator can be held down with a simple tool, and the cage clamp remains open. The wires can be fixed quickly, safely and reproducibly. In addition, Han® Push-in helps to avoid errors and increase mating reliability, e.g. using codings.

Benefits at a glance:

  • Up to 30% less assembly time due to the direct insertion of the conductor into the contact chamber

  • Easy handling due to tool-less termination

  • Cost savings

  • Maximal flexibility, suitable for ferrules, stranded wires and solid conductors
