HARTING celebrates 10 years of operations in Silao

What started as a small team of around 30 employees has since grown into a site with 700 colleagues covering the entire production lifecycle, from engineering and production to customer service. The team celebrated the anniversary together with suppliers, partners and political representatives.

HARTING’s success story in the Mexican state of Guanajuato began in 2016. At that time, 30 employees moved into the approximately 1,200-square-metre site in Silao. It soon became clear the choice of this location had been the right one. Leading car manufacturers and suppliers also opened their plants in Mexico, thereby accelerating growth. “This meant we had our finger on the pulse of this important market right from the start,” summarises Philip Harting, CEO of the HARTING Technology Group. “In the coming years, we will continue to meet the needs of our customers with purpose-built connectivity solutions. We are looking forward to additional growth opportunities in a wide range of sectors such as energy, mobility and infrastructure.”

The Silao site exemplifies HARTING’s 'in the region – for the region’ approach.
