Children crafting for winter
The HARTING Technology Group invited its employees' children to its traditional winter crafting event again this year. Numerous employees came with their children to craft winter decorations, lanterns and small works of art.
The sound of children's laughter filled the "Casino" staff restaurant, which was quickly transformed into a colourful creative workshop for the little craftspeople. Under expert guidance and with loving support, numerous winter decorative works of art were created. The children made lanterns from cans, created original reindeer pendants for the Christmas tree and embellished candles with creative wax plate and napkin techniques. This year, it was particularly heart-warming to see so many fathers present, working side by side with their children with obvious joy and great commitment.
The event took place with the support of the Catholic kindergarten St. Marien in Espelkamp and has been an integral part of the HARTING annual calendar for many years. The winter craft session brings parents and children together, invites families who might not otherwise meet to interact, and creates a space for shared experiences.
Senior manager Margrit Harting, who initiated the craft afternoon, summed it up aptly: "When I see how much fun and togetherness this afternoon brings, I know why this tradition is so important to me. It makes me happy to see how much enthusiasm and warmth it brings to our HARTING family."
At the end, the children proudly presented their own masterpieces. They left the company premises with smiles on their faces – and took home not only their creations but also many wonderful memories.
