Philip Harting re-elected to the ZVEI Executive Board

With the re-election, he continues his work at the central association level and continues to bring the perspective of industrial practice into strategic decisions.

The member companies of the ZVEI first elect the Board of Directors; the select board is then formed from this circle. Philip Harting has been a member of the ZVEI Board of Directors since 2014 and was elected to the Select Board for the first time in 2023.

For me, playing an active role in shaping this development is both an incentive and a responsibility," says Philip Harting, CEO of the HARTING Technology Group. "I am pleased to be able to continue to play an active role in shaping the work of the select board."

In this role, he continuously brings the industry's perspective to key strategic issues of the association. These include in particular topics such as electrification, industrial digitalization and sustainable value creation.

The ZVEI's select board consists of the president, three vice-presidents and other elected members and is responsible for the basic strategic orientation of the association.

The ZVEI sees itself as the voice of one of the most innovative industries in Germany. The electrical and digital industry has around 900,000 employees and an annual turnover of around 225 billion euros. The association bundles the interests of its approximately 1,100 member companies, develops common positions and incorporates them into political and social decision-making processes. In particular, the focus is on the design of reliable framework conditions to enable innovation and drive technological progress.
