Our specialisms include cable assemblies, inter-car jumpers and box builds, which are built at our fully IRIS-certified manufacturing facility in Northampton, which has achieved the Bronze Quality Performance Level award. What We Do

Cable Assemblies

Using our extensive product range, we can manufacture customised cable assemblies to suit your exact requirements. This includes both moulded and pre-assembled cabling with plastic or metal housings. Our substantial portfolio includes M12, RJ45 and fibre optic assemblies, as well as miniaturised solutions which utilise innovative HARTING products, such as the ix Industrial® and PushPull. In addition, we carry out through testing of all our cabling and wiring solutions using state-of-the-art equipment. This includes tensile and high voltage testing, which is carried out onsite by our highly-skilled team.

Inter-Car Jumpers

Another of our specialisms is the production of inter-car jumper cables for the transportation market. These are designed to run connections between train carriages, either via roof or underfloor systems, ensuring a reliable supply of data, signals and power. Box Builds

No matter what the degree of complexity, we have the capacity to produce bespoke box builds to suit your needs. Our team have the knowledge and experience to help you create a project-specific assembly, including installing components and assemblies, efficiently routing cable harnesses and fabrication. To further assist you, our skilled design team can create a 3D CAD visualisation of your build beforehand to ensure absolute accuracy before manufacturing begins.

Fibre Optics

We supply and manufacture customised optical fibre solutions, from transmitter / receiver modules and connectors through to complete cabling assembly systems. These include fibre glass and Plastic Optical Fibre (POF), integrated hybrid cables and expanded beam assemblies, which allow the benefits of fibre connectivity in harsh working environments. Each fibre we produce is rigorously polished and tested to FOA standards to achieve the maximum possible data transfer rate.

Kitting

HARTING Customised Solutions can offer you a custom kitting service for multiple product parts, which also come with assembly instructions and can include non-standard components. Based on your exact requirements, these kits have a single, customer-specific part number, which simplifies the reordering process.
