Han-Modular® 100A Single Module Protected: Introducing new options for battery connections

HARTING has developed a touch-safe version of the Han® 100A single module. The standard version of the previous single module has no contact protection on the male side. The new version now comes equipped with a plastic attachment on the tip of the contact.

This contact protection is advised for all applications where power is no longer supplied from the mains. When sourcing energy from battery storage systems, for example, it is possible that current will still be flowing on the sides involved when an interface is plugged in and unplugged.

In contrast, the new Han® 100A Single Module Protected guarantees contact safety and compatibility with existing socket modules (part. no. 09 14 001 3131).
