Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) ensures for the first time the cost-effective use of Ethernet in every aspect of industrial automation. Single pair Ethernet uses one pair of wires to transmit data at speeds up to 1GBit/s. This makes SPE ideal for industrial applications in the age of Industry 4.0 and IIoT. HARTING T1 Industrial is the SPE mating face for industrial applications according to IEC 63171-6.
