About HARTING Denmark

HARTING Denmark started 1 January 2010 as a subsidiary of the German main group HARTING Stiftung & Co. KG.

HARTING Germany was founded September 1, 1945 by Wilhelm and Marie Harting in Minden. The company is still 100 % family owned and now has subsidiaries / sales offices in 44 countries distributed throughout the globe.

A management transition has taken place from the second to the third generation of the family, in accordance with our vision to remain an independent family business. In October 2015, Philip Harting took over the executive chairman position from his father Dietmar, who is still a board member and focussed on the future and new technologies. Philip Harting now leads the Techology Group together with his mother Margrit, member of the board and partner, his sister Maresa Harting-Hertz, personally liable partner and board member of the Finance and Purchasing department, and other non-family managers.

Drawing on the Group's expertise in the fields of electrical, electronic and optical connection, transfer and network technology, manufacturing, mechatronics and software creation, the HARTING Technology Group produces and sells tailored solutions and products for the three lifelines of industry: data, signal and power.
HARTING is one of the world's leading companies in these fields; its products are used in machine construction, rail technology, wind power stations and factory automation, for example.
HARTING also produces electro-magnetic components for the automobile industry, charging technology and cables for electronic vehicles and specializes in industrial applications in the form of housings, cable systems and the preparation of individual and total systems as well as automated vending systems.
