HARTING (HK) Ltd. is the Asia Pacific subsidiary of HARTING, a German-based global leader in the connector industry. We develop, manufacture and sell the world’s most durable and reliable connectivity solutions for industrial use in mechanical and plant engineering, robotics and transportation engineering, factory automation, power generation and distribution, renewable energy, medical as well as broadcast and entertainment.

Established in 1988, HARTING (HK) Ltd. started as logistics hub to supply China customers, with the advantage of quicker import  from Germany. Over the years, HARTING Hong Kong has built a strong sales and distribution network and provides the support across the whole Asia Pacific region, including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, India and Australia.   With the strong momentum of growing in Asia Pacific, HARTING further operates in Thaliand, Indonesia and Vietnam.

In 1998, the Zhuhai manufacturing site was founded, with an initial investment of more than USD16 million.  The current factory is the supply chain, logistics, training, research and development center for Asia Pacific.  We are intensifying our ongoing R&D activities to develop new technologies, products and solutions which enhance our portfolio.  HARTING always caters customised solutions and products to local customers and projects.

HARTING is highly committed to the local community.  In 2010-2013, HARTING Hong Kong and HARTING Zhuhai (factory) were jointly awarded the “Hang Seng Pearl River Delta Environmental Award, a competition organized by the Hang Seng Bank. The award acknowledges the manufacturing company’s successful environmental commitment in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta (PRD) region. In 2012, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and HARTING Technology Group to strengthen the collaboration of research and developments in advanced Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Technologies and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions.
