Digital market graphics pave the way to a connectivity solution

In which industrial applications do connectivity solutions such as industrial connectors contribute to solutions that provide real added value? Where exactly do I find these solutions in the field? Which requirements apply to the components, and where do I find details like technical specifications?

HARTING has developed digital, market-specific graphics as an answer to these and other questions. The graphics allow you to navigate intuitively through typical applications embedded in a variety of industrial environments. Currently, you can explore possible solutions for the following areas of application:

Transportation
Machinery - Metalworking
Machinery - Plastics
Robotics
Energy distribution and storage
Wind Energy

From now on, new graphics are available on the HARTING website www.harting.com (in the “Markets” section) as an alternative access to information. Under the “Wind Energy” menu item, for example, users can navigate through the graphical representation of an energy landscape, including a wind turbine.

Via the yellow info icons, you get access to the individual applications. They will also lead you to the relevant technical specifications, describing the related practical connectivity solutions as well as their benefit for application. Outside the viewing window, you will find advanced technical information, basic explanations of connectivity, product videos as well as detailed market descriptions.

In addition, you can switch to the HARTING eShop, where you may use HARTING’s online configuration tool for industrial connector design. This tool assists with the creation of an individual interface, providing you – after completion – with the relevant technical data of the solution. Anywhere, you can also get easily into contact with the HARTING Sales Department.

“We have already successfully presented our interactive market graphics at trade fairs such as InnoTrans and China Wind Power,” says Andre Beneke, Director of Product and Industrial Segment Management at HARTING Electric. “The graphics are now also available on the internet. Therefore, our customers have the opportunity to quickly find suitable and proven solutions for their individual interface requirements.”
