HARTING vaccination offer very well received

Around 600 HARTING employees have been vaccinated with the BioNTech vaccine for the first time on Tuesday. The vaccination campaign is being carried out in close coordination with the HARTING company physician and the responsible authorities. The vaccine from Johnson & Johnson is available for another appointment.

The available allocation includes 1400 doses of vaccine and is split over two days. "The offer was very well received, and the appointments were rapidly filled," as André General, General Manager Human Resources at the HARTING Technology Group, stated. "With this campaign, the company is making a major contribution to the vaccination rate in the region," emphasizes Tim Franke, Human Resources Officer (focus on health management) who is also heading the pandemic team at the HARTING Technology Group.

For more than a year, HARTING has been involved in combatting the pandemic: among other measures, by providing masks for employees, implementing home office regulations as well as making disinfection dispensers and regular PCR and rapid tests available.

Comprehensive campaign
In order to address as many employees as possible, the vaccination campaign was accompanied by a comprehensive information drive. In addition to flyers and an intranet page on Corona issues, an appeal also went out to employees to submit questions, which were answered by Prof. Dr. med. Franz-Josef Schmitz, Head of LaborZentrumWeser in Minden, and Dr. med. Klaus Reinhardt, President of the German Medical Association.
Moreover, Espelkamp's mayor Dr. Henning Vieker also supports the campaign. In a video message, he called on HARTING employees to get their jabs and help in containing the pandemic.
