Maximum freedom for high-current transmission on the train

The brand new HanĀ® HPR Single Pole portfolio expands the application possibilities for power distribution significantly.

HARTING has developed the HanĀ® HPR VarioShell as a particularly flexible solution for jumper cable connections. The housing forms an open system that accommodates connectors for the transmission of power and other media. The VarioShell is split into two parts which can be opened, enabling the preassembly and installation of the connection technology as well as providing quick access for service and maintenance.

Expanded application possibilities for power distribution

The new HanĀ® HPR Single Pole portfolio complements these housings perfectly. The poles transmit power up to 650 A/4 kV AC/DC through reliable HanĀ® HC Modular contacts. The result is high-performance connectors in HPR housings with IP68/69 protection. Up to eight 250/350 A contacts or six 650 A contacts can be accommodated.

Less handling weight, safe installation

The single-pole application makes it easier to handle high-current connections, especially if very heavy cables are used. Integrated pins open up 25 different coding options. Connections to other power supply systems on rail vehicles are also possible. As ever, the HanĀ® HPR application complies with all relevant railway standards.
